Pooja Gupta

Pooja graduated in 1999 with honors from the Montserrat College of Art in Beverly MA., with a degree in fine arts.

She was born and raised in Bangalore, India - a country which she often returns to, to feed her senses and love of colour.

Pooja is a figurative painter, who periodically also paints landscapes and other genres, where form, line and color are an integral part of her work. She has also added murals to her genre of work.

She was recently selected to be a featured artist in the 2009 edition of "Best of Oil - Emerging Artists: Volume 2".

Pooja lives and paints in the Washington D.C metropolitan area.
